A Region Built on Making

Western Sydney has a long and proud industrial history. It’s where things got built - homes, infrastructure, goods, businesses, communities. But in recent decades, much of that energy has been lost. Manufacturing moved offshore. Industrial spaces were rezoned. Purpose-built facilities became outdated or unavailable.

Yet the potential never left. The skills, the space, the workforce, the entrepreneurial spirit - it’s all still here.

We saw an opportunity to do more than just revive industrial land. We wanted to reimagine it.

Manufactor is built on a decommissioned site in Penrith, once left behind by traditional industry. Today, it’s home to a new generation of Australian manufacturers - from food tech manufacturers, to advanced makers, creators, and entrepreneurs redefining what’s possible onshore.
